Job Summary
The Senior Legal Officer provides legal advice to the business on trading matters about legal practice within the provisions of the laws, and regulations about our clients, service providers, business partners, and consultants to protect the MCL’s interests and mitigate any legal risks
Desired Skills:
Qualifications
i.) Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized Institution.
ii.) Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
iii.) Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practising certificate.
iv.) Minimum of four (4) years post-admission experience in a busy law firm or public/commercial entity.
v.) Strong conceptual, analytical, documentation and presentation skills;
vi.) Good interpersonal skills and ability to influence and negotiate at different levels;
vii.) Excellent communication skills necessary for interaction and negotiating parties;
viii.) High degree of integrity, dependability, and confidentiality;
ix.) Able to provide independent advice (oral or in writing) to senior-level management on
highly technical matters;
i.) The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
ii.) Good planning and organization skills.
