Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary Head of Business Development to lead our strategic initiatives in product management and Business Development. This role is critical in ensuring our products align with customer needs and driving business growth.

The successful candidate will oversee the full product lifecycle, spearhead customer acquisition strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve our organizational goals.

Desired Skills:

  1. Conduct market research to identify customer needs and untapped opportunities.
  2. Design and refine product features in collaboration with stakeholders, incorporating customer feedback and aligning with organizational priorities.
  3. Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, providing actionable insights to the business.
  4. Develop and implement customer acquisition strategies that drive sustainable growth.
  5. Build and maintain strategic partnerships to expand the company’s market reach.
  6. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet revenue targets.
  7. Champion a customer-centric culture, ensuring high satisfaction and retention rates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, business development, or a related role, preferably in the microfinance or financial services sector.
  • Strong knowledge in logbook loans, checkoff loans, Title deed loans etc.
  • Proven track record of leading successful product launches and driving business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and performance data.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial sector is a plus.
